We’re excited to announce the launch of the Developer Ambassadors Program – a unique chance for experienced developers to pioneer innovation on Flare.

We will be selecting three developers to play an essential role in expanding the Flare ecosystem by building impactful dApps and showcasing Flare’s potential. Ambassadors will earn exclusive ambassador rewards and receive support from the Flare team.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for three experienced developers with the following qualifications:

Proven experience in dApp development: Show us a strong portfolio of applications that you’ve built and are proud of. We want to know what you can do!
Active participation in blockchain communities: Are you regularly engaging with other Web3 builders across different platforms and mediums?
Excellent communication & content creation skills: The chosen ambassadors will be evangelizing the benefits of Flare, so it’s important that you’re able to effectively explain concepts while grabbing attention.

Ambassador objectives

Ambassadors will take on the following objectives to drive growth on Flare, with applicable metrics to be achieved:

1. Objective #1: dApp Development

Build and showcase at least 1 dApp per quarter on any of Flare’s networks (Coston1, Coston2, Songbird, Flare).
At the end of each quarter, the ambassador will present the dApps to members of the Flare development team and share why they believe their projects contribute to Flare’s growth and demonstrate Flare’s capabilities.

2. Objective #2: Hackathons & Meetups

Host or participate in 1-2 hackathons or developer meetups per quarter.
Hackathons: Organize events focusing on Flare’s technology, offering prizes and incentives, or actively participate by developing a showcase dApp for the hackathon focus. Must attract 50+ participants per online event and 25+ participants per in-person event.
Meetups: Conduct local or virtual meetups to discuss Flare’s features and opportunities. Must engage 30+ attendees per online meetup and 15+ per in-person event.

3. Objective #3: Technical Content Creation

Produce at least 3 technical articles OR at least 2 technical videos per month.
- Content Types:
  - Tutorials and how-to guides.
  - Deep dives into Flare’s technology.
  - Case studies of existing dApps live in the ecosystem or built by the ambassador.
- Platforms: Publish on Flare’s official blog, YouTube channel, and relevant developer forums.

Incentives & rewards

Flare Developer Ambassadors will earn rewards with bonuses based on performance. Benefits include:

Monthly Stipend: Equivalent to $1,000 USD in FLR tokens.
Performance Bonuses:

$500 FLR bonus for exceeding dApp adoption goals by 50%
$250 FLR bonus for exceeding event participation targets by 25%

Support provided

Each ambassador will receive comprehensive support from the Flare team to ensure they’re equipped with everything they need. This includes:

Branding materials and access to promotional channels and Flare social platforms to amplify reach.
